Students from the twin towns attended the Medieval Festival in Gubbio. The first night there was a dinner in the cantina of Saint Antonio, one of the three saints celebrated in the Festa di Ceri every year
The festival dates back to the 12th century. The Ceri are large urns each weighing 300kg which are paraded through the town with a figurine of each saint on top. The Ceri are stored in the Basilica S’Ubaldo.
The twin towns also held a business meeting to discuss future joint events for the coming year.
